How Do I Sponsor?

WHAT DOES THE CHILD RECEIVE?

  • Children who are sponsored receive an education, medical care (when needed) and access to a meal a day.

WHAT IS THE SPONSOR'S ROLE?

  • Financially, sponsors commit to pay $34 a month to provide for the needs of their child (through Children's HopeChest).
  • As a sponsor, you can write your child (there's an EASY link on the Children's HopeChest website that makes the process literally take as little as 5 minutes. You can even include a picture!
  • We encourage our sponsors to pray for their child once a month. You will have access to information about your child so you can pray specifically for their needs.
  • Additionally, you can also travel to visit your child on one of our Unlikely Sons & Daughters team trips.

WHAT ROLE DOES THE UNLIKELY SONS & DAUGHTERS PLAY?

  • We send out a monthly reminder to our sponsors, via email, to remind you to write your child & pray for your child.
  • We organize teams of sponsors to go visit their children once a year.

If you or someone you know would like to sponsor a child from the Good Samaritan School in New Delhi, India there are two ways you can do that:

  1. To become a part of our Unlikely Sons & Daughters sponsor group by sponsoring an individual child, please contact Anna Melvin to get information on children that still need sponsors from our specific group. atxanna@gmail.com
  2. OR to find out how to "take on" your own group of children to find sponsors for (similar to our story), please contact Ben Savage at Children's HopeChest. bsavage@hopechest.org
