- Children who are sponsored receive an education, medical care (when needed) and access to a meal a day.
WHAT IS THE SPONSOR'S ROLE?
- Financially, sponsors commit to pay $34 a month to provide for the needs of their child (through Children's HopeChest).
- As a sponsor, you can write your child (there's an EASY link on the Children's HopeChest website that makes the process literally take as little as 5 minutes. You can even include a picture!
- We encourage our sponsors to pray for their child once a month. You will have access to information about your child so you can pray specifically for their needs.
- Additionally, you can also travel to visit your child on one of our Unlikely Sons & Daughters team trips.
WHAT ROLE DOES THE UNLIKELY SONS & DAUGHTERS PLAY?
- We send out a monthly reminder to our sponsors, via email, to remind you to write your child & pray for your child.
- We organize teams of sponsors to go visit their children once a year.
If you or someone you know would like to sponsor a child from the Good Samaritan School in New Delhi, India there are two ways you can do that:
- To become a part of our Unlikely Sons & Daughters sponsor group by sponsoring an individual child, please contact Anna Melvin to get information on children that still need sponsors from our specific group. atxanna@gmail.com
- OR to find out how to "take on" your own group of children to find sponsors for (similar to our story), please contact Ben Savage at Children's HopeChest. bsavage@hopechest.org
